🏅 SGS Certification

What is SGS? SGS is the world's leading inspection, verification, testing, and certification company. When a product is SGS-tested, it means an independent, globally recognized laboratory has verified that it meets strict safety and quality standards — not just the manufacturer's word.

What we tested for: Our chopsticks were independently tested across three reports. SGS confirmed the metal is genuine medical-grade 316 stainless steel, and separately tested the SPS resin handle for lead, cadmium, and phthalates (all not detected). Intertek tested the chopsticks for lead and antimony under Japan's Food Sanitation Law — both not detected.

    🍽️ Food-Grade Safety

What does "food-grade" mean? Food-grade materials are those deemed safe for contact with food and beverages. They are non-toxic, non-reactive, and will not transfer harmful substances into what you eat or drink.

Our products are made from medical-grade 316 stainless steel — the same material used in surgical instruments and food processing equipment. This grade of steel contains molybdenum, which gives it superior corrosion resistance compared to standard 304 stainless steel, making it especially safe for acidic foods and beverages.

Why it matters: Many lower-cost alternatives use coatings, plastics, or lower-grade metals that can degrade over time and leach chemicals into your food. With Radiko, you never have to worry about that.

    🔬 316 vs 304 Stainless Steel — What's the Difference?

304 Stainless Steel 316 Stainless Steel (Radiko)
Grade Standard / commercial Medical & surgical grade
    Corrosion resistance Good Superior
    Contains molybdenum No Yes
Safe for acidic foods Moderate Excellent
Used in Budget cutlery Surgical instruments & Radiko
    Price point Lower Premium

Radiko uses 316 — because your family deserves medical-grade safety, not just the minimum standard.

    🌿 Non-Toxic Materials

    Our stainless steel is:

    • Non-porous — bacteria, mold, and odors cannot penetrate the surface, making it naturally hygienic
    • Non-reactive — it won't interact with acidic or alkaline foods, preserving the true flavor of your meals
    • BPA-free — no plastics, no coatings, no hidden chemicals
    • Independently lab-tested — our chopsticks are verified by SGS and Intertek for material safety, including lead and cadmium testing on the handle and food-contact safety on the steel.

What you see is what you get: pure, clean stainless steel that's safe for your family and the planet.

    ♻️ Recyclable Materials
